Homosexuality has been debated for thousands of years in many cultures, such as Greek was accepted without any shame, but of course that Greek culture is not the best example to follow, with the same idolatrous and the same invaders which later they became the Philistines, also known as "sea town".
But it's time to talk about what concerns us, our people and homophobic taboo that much has been expanded by thousands of years by the fault of a bad interpretation of the Torah, which even came to influence later in Christianity and in Islam (religions that are not examples to follow).
Many will surely think but how is that allowed if they are clearly in one of the 613 commandments of the Torah dictates figure one "not commit sodomy"? Well, it may be interesting and even more important to clarify what is really "sodomy". To start anywhere in the Torah mentions that the main sin was committed in Sodom and Gomorrah was homosexuality, in fact, is never mentioned. The only mentioned sins committed by the Sodomites was the bad treatment they had to strangers and even their own citizens, being an extremely violent and unjust society.
And to prescribe an example I could cite a law which prevailed in those cities, if a man beat another to the point where he bled, the law dictated that the hit man had to give a monetary reward as according to the beliefs of those people was that the blood loss was helping health. (A very stupid medical concept but even thought up in the Victorian era where many diseases were attempted to be healed through the extraction of blood by leeches). Another very painful law governing Sodom was to charge an exorbitant sum to anyone who wanted to stay there for a short time. Judges also said cities decreed death penalty on anyone who tried gently to a poor traveler.
I could go on with the abominable laws that occurred in Sodom and Gomorrah but I would take a long time and I want to be clear with what I'm trying to express. Homosexuality was never a sin in these cities or elsewhere.
Following the examples of the lack of hospitality that was the real sin of Sodom and Gomorrah is no wonder that in contrast to these serious behaviors mentioned in Genesis, chapter 18 and 19, Vayera parsha, the excellent performance of Abraham. When he was sitting outside his tent in the heat of the afternoon talking to Hashem saw coming towards the three people (angels) and did not hesitate for a moment to cut his conversation with Di-s to assist them, asking Sara I go to buy meat and lard to prepare them to eat (worth mentioning that in the food mixed meat with dairy since the mitzvot of the Torah together with the laws of kashrut were not yet established) making it clear that hospitality is a virtues of the most beloved by Hashem, showing us even though we are having a chat with him, praying or studying Torah go to assist the needy is much more important because in this way we are emulating.
The most poignant and obvious example of homosexuality in Judaism is clearly the relationship none other than King David had with Saul's son, Jonathan. While it is clear that it was not a homosexual relationship knows more than good (although many deny empecinen) a bisexual relationship.
David and Jonathan had an extremely intense to deny feelings between them relationship and although David ended up marrying the sister of Jonathan (Since marriage between men was not something well regarded and as King David needed offspring, thing with another man could not at that time as though they can at present) the emotional relationship between them never disappeared.
Reality can not be denied, is written in the book of Samuel.
"I am distressed for thee, my brother Jonathan, who left me very sweet, more wonderful was your love than the love of women" (2 Samuel 1:26)
Even there are several references in which the two shared their clothes.
<< And Jonathan clothing that was on him undressed, and gave it to David, and his garments, even to his sword and his bow and his belt. >>
Many retrogressive homophobic usually go to << not lie with a man as one lies down with a woman. That's an abomination >>. Leviticus 18: 22-24
But I clarify them Do you think the creator of the universe Hashem, Gd of our forefathers s not perhaps know that times change and that Judaism lives in constant reform? Why do you think after reading all parashiot the next year we repeat and again and again? Because not everything that was said was learned, because not everything that could be learned was answered, there is always something new to learn, something new to discuss, to debate, although many especially in the most orthodox sectors empecinen to close their minds and refuse to discuss how they did in the old days. Create and own the absolute truth, but the absolute truth does not exist, everything is relative.
Do you think that Hashem would ask us, as at the time he asked Saul through Samuel << When the Israelites left Egypt, the Amalekites treated them very badly. So now I will punish them. Go, attack the Amalekites and destroy everything they have. Kill men, women and children, and their bulls, sheep, camels and donkeys. Life does not forgive anyone >>?
But anyway, back to the topic Do you believe that Hashem knowing that the ages of mankind change, the contexts are no longer the same, that humanity is governed by human rights (although often these rights are distorted) will we to ask again to annihilate innocent children and even more innocent animals? Obviously not, that even Gd s adapts to modern times, which clearly shows that Judaism urgently needs a more inclusive and open reform. So if Hashem asked us to emulate because they strive both to obfuscate the love may be between two men, two women or between a Jew and goy from orthodoxy?
Many Orthodox try to pretend to be open minded to argue that homosexuality is not a sin but homosexual acts and carnal relations are only pecadas if sex is anal but that is not sin that two men practicing oral sex. I've seen videos on YouTube where rabbis advise that to cure homosexuality (as if it were a disease!) figs should be eaten every day, this is really absurd.
And again I lash out with some sectors of Judaism which are created with the power to handle them life to others at will. No sir, you are not the ones to judge, much less to want to get involved in the lives of others.
While I write several articles that invite you to read where I talk about what we as Jews are doing right, wrong and what we should do. Love your neighbor as yourself is one of them, be one as Di-s it is one is undoubtedly one of them.
It's time to change and move forward.
PS: I do not read the comments made to my articles, but the other day I read a couple and I want to first thank place to which I congratulate and encourage to continue writing, to which I reply, exprésense also not left quiet and strive for the progress of our people, do not let a radical group try to shut them up. Secondly, I turn to those who criticize me and insult without valid arguments and want you to know that more attempts to intimidate and silence me will continue expressing myself freely, on behalf of my Jewishness, the Torah and Hashem, I will continue watching and fighting until the day of my death all those Jews who marginalized people like you do not give them place to talk.
Third, I want to congratulate and thank the managers of the newspaper Aurora for giving me this opportunity to express myself freely. Shalom ubrajá.

Homosexuality and Spiritism
Homosexuality and Spiritualism
Posted on August 31, 2016 | On the program: Dialogues Doctors | Written by Marcelo Saad | Posted by Vanessa Cavalcanti
This text was written based on the program Dialogues Doctors
of 26/07/2016. In this program, we discuss a matter of Spiritualist
sheet related to the topic. We know that, in general, sexuality is taboo
crossing times and cultures.
The aversion to homosexuality is one of these taboos, something that
does not go through logical explanations. Clinically, homosexuality has
been cataloged in the past as a disorder. Today, it is not considered a
disease, but a preference. In a few countries, homosexuality is still a
crime; in some others, hostilities against homosexuals go unpunished by a
failure of the authorities.
In the religious field, some radical Christian groups based on a biblical passage (Leviticus 18:22) to condemn homosexuality: "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind; it is an abomination. "
In fact, this rule is in the Old Testament, but that these groups
ignore is that there are 613 commandments. Who respects all these
precepts are observant ultra-Orthodox Jews. Some examples include: do
not eat milk and meat mixtures (Exodus 23:19); not walk outside the city
limits on the Sabbath (Exodus 16:29.); men should not shave their
beards with a razor (Leviticus 19:27). Thus, someone who shave to travel
to the coast on Saturday to eat a cheeseburger is already breaking
three commandments. And even if there is an objection to homosexuality
in the Old Testament, there is a commandment urging the persecution of
those who do not follow.
In Christian practice, if there is conflict between the precepts Old
with the New Testament, the latter is a priority. The Christian, when in
doubt, you should ask what Jesus would do. We can imagine that Jesus
could even accept a homosexual as his follower. Jesus came to sinners,
prostitutes, tax collectors. Did not condemn the adulteress, who had
been sentenced to death by stoning. Jesus advocated an alternative path to the strict obedience to the law,
with charity as a priority. This irritated the Pharisees, which
culminated in the plot that led to the crucifixion of Jesus. So someone
who blindly follow the Old Testament is acting like the Pharisees.
spiritualist groups that do not allow the approach of homosexuals in
the work of the spirit house unaware that there is no doctrinal
objection to the integration of these people in these activities.
In spiritualism there are vague references to homosexuality, because his major works guide are other times.
Some quotes help to elucidate the spiritual situation in homosexuality.
Andre Luiz in the book Evolution in Two Worlds, mentions that the
Spirit has no gender. The perispiritic body will perform according to
their intimate life determines, reflecting the feature determined by
your psyche.
The physical body is changing gender to each new incarnation. Sometimes
the spirit reincarnates in inverted form to the prevailing in his
mental state, race or task. In this case, the Spirit is still identified
with the genre of the past incarnation, which may not be the same as
the current one.
Even considering this spiritual dissonance,
the spiritual literature never mentions homosexuality as something
pathological or objectionable, which needs forced modification.
Religious radicals who believe that reprehensible perversions would be
characteristic of homosexuals are unable to see that heterosexual
behavior may have even more degrading.
In conclusion, there is no religious argument to justify hostility and
persecution of homosexuals. Spiritualism will only be at the forefront
of the transformation of humanity when their representatives are able to
act as true Christians.
